Project Overview

This is an interactive 360° virtual nature experience. I design this project to embed into a mini-course on a LMS, focusing on the benefit of nature. The goal is to encourage audiences to take a break from the screen and spend more time enjoying the outdoors.

Procedure and Result

I created this project end-to-end. I first conducted research, decided on the video and audio selection, and created icons. After that, I jumped to Articulate Storyline to design and develop the layout, interactions, and animations.

I'm paying attention to the most recent updates of the authoring tools. To accomplish the immersive nature experience in this project, I use this newly launched 360° image functionality in Articulate Storyline. I adopted the features of free navigation and used triggers and layers to increase interactivity. One part I'm proud of is the customized sound button. I developed these interactive buttons with variables and conditions, allowing users to control audio during their free navigation experiences.
